Baby Shower Favors
M&M Baby Bottles Fill baby bottles
with pastel M&Ms and place one at every seat. These make great
decorations as well as favors.
Personalized Frame Purchase
inexpensive frames for each guest. Make copies of a recent
ultrasound (if baby is not born), or a baby picture (if baby is
born) to place in each frame.
Shower Blocks Purchase a set of
blocks at the local craft store. Paint or write on each block
the expected due date, birthday, or baby's name and weight. Hand
these out to each guest.
A Special Book Ask the
mother-to-be what her favorite book was as a child. Hand each
guest this book as a shower favor.
Seeded Love For this party favor
you will need 6 inch fabric squares (1 for each guest) and
ribbon. Ask the mommy-to-be her favorite type of flower.
Sprinkle a small handful of seeds in each guest's fabric square.
Bring the corners together and tie with a ribbon.
Memory Pot Provide each guest with
a small flower pot decorated with the new parents' names and the
name of the baby.
Photo Coaster This favor works
best if the baby has already been born. Buy a set of photo
coasters. Each guest receives 1 coaster with a picture of the
baby inserted into each.
Bubbly Bottle Give each guest a
baby bottled filled with bubble bath.
Candy Bar Favorite This favor is
extremely simple if you are short on time. Buy a bunch of Baby
Ruth Candy bars and tie a pink or blue ribbon around each.
Mini Muffin Tin Purchase a mini
muffin tin for each guest and attach a little note that says, "I
have my little muffin. Now you can make your own."
Cupcake MixAsk the mommy her
favorite cupcake flavor. Then, gather the ingredients (or
purchase a pre-made package) and add cooking instructions. On
the cooking instructions, copy a picture of the new baby or the
pregnant mommy. Title it, "My little Cupcake".
Bubble Baby Purchase mini bubbles
at any party store (the bubbles used at weddings). Around the
lid, attach a ribbon with the expected due date or the actual
birthday of the baby.
The Birth Story This favor is
perfect for a shower after the baby is born. Get a newborn
picture of the baby. Ask the mommy to write down her birth
story. Take the story and the picture to a print shop and ask
them to copy it to newspaper looking stationary. Then you can
hand each guest a personalized baby "newspaper".
Frame Magnets This is a quick
favor if you are short on time. Purchase frame magnets from your
local discount store. Instruct the guests that the magnets are
for the photos of the new baby that will be sent through the
years.
Memory Montage If the baby shower
is semi intimate (ie: small family shower, old friends, new
friends), create a video montage of memories. Before the
shower, travel to each person's home and record them discussing
a memory of the mother or father-to-be (or have them send a
video). Then, make a copy for all the guests.
